Set the Start Page in the Office 365 Portal

To set the Start Page in the Office 365 portal, follow the steps below.

Instructions

  1. Using a web browser, go to https://portal.office.com
  2. Login to the portal using your Office 365 username and password:

    User: ename@colostate.edu
    Password: eID Password

  3. Click the Settings icon (gear at upper right) and select Office 365 settings.
  4. Click the Start page option in the left menu.
  5. Choose the start page you want from the drop-down list.
  6. Click Save to save your change.

Troubleshooting

If you see an error stating "something went wrong" when logging into the Office 365 portal, please do the following and then proceed to step 3 above:

  1. Using a web browser, go to https://portal.office.com
  2. Login to the portal using your Office 365 username and password - same as above.
  3. When the "something went wrong" error is displayed, enter the URL https://portal.office.com/home into your web browser's address bar.
  4. Proceed to step 3 documented above.
