Configure Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition for Central Exchange

As of 5/26/2010, you must use Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition (or later) to connect to Central Exchange mailboxes.

Setup Instructions

  1. Start Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition
  2. Click "Entourage" > "Account Settings"
  3. From the "Accounts" screen, click "New" button.
  4. If the Account Setup Assistant screen appears, click "Configure Account Manually" button. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
  5. Select "Exchange" as the Account Type and click OK.
  6. Enter the following information on the Account Settings tab:
    • Account Name: Central Exchange
    • [Personal Information] Section
    • Name: First Last
    • Email Address: ename@mail.colostate.edu
    • [Authentication] Section
    • Account Id: ename
    • Domain: colostate
    • Password: your eid password
    • Check option to "Save password in my Mac OS keychain"
  7. Enter the following information on the Advanced tab:
    • [Server Information] Section
    • Exchange Server: mail.colostate.edu/ews/ename@mail.colostate.edu
    • Check option "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)"
    • LDAP Server: limon.colostate.edu
    • Check option "This server requires me to log on"
  8. Click OK to complete the process.
