Change Outlook Voice Access (491-5500) to use the Touchtone (keypad) User Interface

Steps to change from the Voice User Interface to the Touchtone User Interface

  1. Dial 1-5500 from an on-campus phone, or 970-491-5500 from off-campus.
  2. Follow the instructions and enter your PIN plus the # key.
  3. When the system says, "You can say voicemail, email, calendar..." simply interrupt and say "Personal Options".
  4. When prompted to "Start using the touchtone interface", press 4. The system will respond: "You have chosen the Touchtone User Interface".
  5. Hang up.
  6. Thereafter, when you dial into the system, menu options need to be selected using the telphone keypad rather than having to speak commands to the system.
